Tuesday Train #6

On September 11, 2004, the crew of British Railways (ex-Southern) M7 30053 chats at Harmans Cross station on the Swanage Railway while they wait on other trains entering the station and completing switching cars so they can get the line to head to Corfe Castle.

  1. Love it, Stephen. For me, that really captures the essence of railroading – in a scene that could be modelled in a modest space, no less.

  2. My favourite preserved railway – and also the best way to reach Swanage, avoiding the tortuous road and the car parking problems.

Happy memories are evoked by such a post. Thank you for that!
