Welcome to 2017, and fresh off the railfanning press, is a ride on Grant Ritchie 272. An 0-4-0 saddle tank built in 1894 by the Grant Ritchie Company in Kilmarnock, Glasgow, Scotland. It worked as an industrial site locomotive for a number of users, before sitting and rusting. She was restored to operation in 2016 at the Ribble Steam Railway, and was in operation at the National Railway Museum in York for Christmas Train rides, which we got on our visit to York on January 2, 2017. Tuesday Train is most definitely going to take on a British flavour for the first few weeks of 2017 after some quality railfanning during our week over.
