LMS/BR Royal Scot (4)6100 at Berwyn on the Llangollen Railway in Wales in 2009, at the 6880 Betton Grange Society’s “Steam Steel and Stars 2” Gala. This was an abortive return for 6100 as the weeks operations would reveal numerous problems with the then recently completed restoration, problems that would take many years and a change of ownership to rectify, but she is now back out and running on the mainline in England.
