CPKC Train 236 rounds the curve at Streetsville GO, with a pair of ex-KCS units. My understanding was that most KCS Locomotives were not equipped with the required equipment to lead trains in Canada. I’ve seen ever more of them on CPKC trains as the CP and KCS fleets merge, but this is the first time post-merger I can recall seeing either a KCS Leader, and certainly the first time I’ve ever seen all KCS power on a former CP train! Nice to have something new to start the year.
